Q. Is there any assistance available for funding?

Theraplay has close links with a large number of charities and organisations which provide funding assistance for the purchase of our cycles. We have developed these links over the years and are now either the sole supplier or prefererred supplier with many of these organisations. The charities work hard to assist families with their funding requests but sometimes it is not possible to grant either full funding or part funding, we would therefore recommend approaching more than one charity with your request.

The O-Pair Wheelchair cycle combines a cycle with a fully functioning wheelchair. This is an ideal product for family cycle rides, enabling the wheelchair user to remain comfortable throughout the day.

The O-Pair wheelchair bike is suitable for use with both children and adults with disabilities who are unable to pedal themselves.

The O-Pair cycle is a combination of a wheelchair unit and a cycle drive unit. These parts can be seperated so that the wheelchair can be used independently, this option is available at an extra cost.

The wheelchair seating unit is fitted with a padded insert for comfort, pelvic strap and a footrest. Additional trunk, pelvic supports and a head support can be added if the rider needs a little more postural support. It is suitable from around 4 1/2 years to adult size, adjustable seating inserts can be added for smaller riders. The cycle unit features an 8 Speed gear, hydraulic brakes and a parking brake function. An electric power assistance unit can also be added if required.
