1. What is the age range of your tricycles?
Our tricycles cater for ages from 2 1/2 years through to adult. Our sizing chart will guide you to the most suitable size of tricycle.

2. How can I transport/store your larger tricycles?
Apart form our IMP tricycle all our other tricycle models have an option to be supplied with a frame folding mechanism. This will split the tricycle in two but has to be specified at time of order.

3. How can I see one of your tricycles?
Theraplay has a network of agents and mobility dealers throughout mainland UK. If you would like to organise a demonstration please call our head office on 0141 876 9177 where we can link you to your nearest specialist.

4. What happens at a product demonstration?
When you organise a trike demonstration we will bring along a selection of tricycles together with ancillary positional supports. If possible your child's OT or PT can be in attendance to offer their professional input. Product demonstrations can be arranged at school or at home, whichever is more convenient for you. A detailed quotation will be left with you at the end of the product demonstration.

Almost all the tricycle we supply in the UK are the result of such demonstrations and allow us to provide the most suitable and proper positional supports to enable the rider to enjoy their tricycle to its fullest.

5. Is funding available?
There are several charities specifically run for the benefit of children with special needs and their equipment requirements. Theraplay has an excellent working relationship with many of these charities and can provide points of contact if you are seeking funding.

Many charities will ask for a written quotation, which we provide at the product demonstration stage. Although we can provide points of contact we do not endorse any one charity nor can we provide any guarantee that your application will be successful.

6. Do you have used tricycles for sale?
Yes we do. Check our news page from time to time to see what we have for sale. All used items are either second hand tricycles or ex-demo models. All are fully refurbished including all positional straps and handgrips replaced with new items.

7. Can we trade our old tricycle?
If you are considering trading up to a larger size of Theraplay tricycle then yes we can offer a used part exchange price based on age and condition of your tricycle.

8. Do you export to other countries?
We export all over the world with tricycle in use from as far a field as Australia and Alaska. If we do not have a distribution contact in your country let us know and we quote shipping direct to your door.

9. Are tools and instructions supplied?
Yes, we provide tools for adjustment, together with a user manual and tyre inflator.

10. Will the tricycle grow with my child?
All Theraplay tricycles are fully adjustable for future growth. Our tricycle specification chart provides information on growth possibilities. It is also another feature of our product demonstration where explanation can be made of some of the component changes that we can make, at no cost, such as different crank lengths to extend the adjustment possibilities of the tricycles.

11. Can I get spares?
Yes, although many of the parts we use are regular cycle parts some components are specifically made for our tricycles. We carry a full range of spares or contact your local cycle shop who will also be able to assist you.

12. Can I get gears on my trike?
All our tricycles are built as single speed as standard with a fixed wheel. This allows the rider to also pedal backwards and is beneficial for a great many children. On our TMX and Tracker models we can offer the option of Shimano 5 speed index gearing for the more able riders. This option cannot be retro fitted and has to be specified at time of ordering.
