5 Speed Gear

PRODUCT CODE # A7S A 5 Speed Sturmey Archer indexed gear which allows the rider to select the best gear to suit their pedalling ability.

The gear selector is a twist grip mounted onto the handlebar for easy gear selection, this is normally fitted onto the right hand side of the handlebar. The 5 Speed Sturmey Archer hub provides a reliable and smooth gear change. This hub is positioned mid-frame and is covered by a chainguard to avoid contact with the chain by the rider.

Who is it for?

Riders who are able to make a full revolution of the pedals and have the ability to operate hand brakes and a twist grip gear selector.

What types of cycle can this be fitted onto?

This gear option is available on the TMX T5 tricycle, Tracker T5 20" tricycle, Tracker T5 24 tricycle, TRACER Jnr Semi-recumbent Trike and the TRACER Semi-recumbent trike.
